Vanessa Evans is an Black artist and graphic designer who works with ink, video, and designing software. She began attending the University of West Florida in the fall of 2013 and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Studio Art in the fall of 2018. During her time at the University of West Florida, she exhibited work in several exhibitions and developed designs for small organizations and businesses. Following graduation, she completed a semester-long internship with artist and UWF Assistant Professor Carrie Fonder in the spring of 2019. She worked alongside Fonder as her art assistant that following summer. As of May 2020, Vanessa now lives in Portland, Oregon. She continues to pursue a career in fine art and design.
